The Voter Participation Center (VPC) is a non-profit and non-partisan group that has helped register more than 4.4 million voters. Earlier this month, VPC sent 1.6 million pieces of mail to Georgia citizens, urging them to vote in the state’s primary election. The VPC mailers contained the correct original date for the primaries, in March. However, as a result of the coronavirus crisis, state officials have now delayed the Georgia primaries to May 19.

To ensure maximum civic engagement, VPC will be reminding Georgia voters of the new primary date, May 19—on our website, in press releases, and on our social media channels.

The new Georgia Primary Date is May 19, 2020.
